Since 1996, JK Defence & Security Products GmbH has maintained and continuously improved a Quality Management System to meet the high quality requirements of our customers.
For our clients in the aerospace industry we have had our company certified to DIN EN 9100:2003 in addition to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000, allowing us to comply with even the highest quality requirements of our aerospace customers. DIN EN 9100 corresponds to the American standard AS 9100.
We also adhere to the military quality requirements as per (NATO) AQAP 2130 and QSF-D of the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI).
Early in 2006 we were audited by the German Armed Forces and are now the first distributor to receive the current "Accreditation as Contractor and Manufacturer of Aircraft Parts for the German Armed Forces".
The next milestones will be in 2009: The Bundeswehr approval as repair and overhaul facility for additional (defined) aircraft spares and the appointment to be fully responsible for the Bundeswehr's on flight emergency, survival, and rescue equipment.
In accordance with AQAP and the domestic German Armed Forces contracts, we work closely together with the Quality Inspectorate of the German Armed Forces.
Together with our own Quality Assurance staff, technicians and engineers of the German Armed Forces check the conformance of ordered parts or services ranging from functional testing to adequate aerospace packaging.
