The residual water suction unit Condex 100 is used wherever independent runoff of any water arising, for example in radiators or humidifiers of air conditioning systems, is not possible for various reasons.
Undrained residual water represents the main cause for the growth of germs and for corrosion in air conditioning plants. Besides the depreciation resulting from material damage, it is of great importance to prevent any possible health hazards for room users and maintenance personnel.
Most of the old plants and even many new plants do not meet the requirements according to VDI 6022. And thereby germs grow and corrosion spreads.
Design modifications to avoid stagnant water are often very expensive or it is impossible to accomplish them.
